Just a few things before we start…

What can I say? Really, what can I say, aside from thank you to everyone that has followed me on this personal adventure of mine, I would love to derail here and say some words, but I feel it wouldn’t be right, I’ll save my overall thoughts for the end of this, for now, however, I wanna get to this, this is it. The final stretch, don’t give up on me now body and mind.

And thanks, everyone, for making this year a special one for me, without any of you this wouldn’t have happened in any capacity. Thanks, from the bottom of my heart.

But enough yapping, time for some TNs!

October

When I was well ahead in the project, still amazed I had gotten this far in it I was definitely considering what I would do once I reached October. I wanted to make something special sure but I didn’t just want to relegate it to just a week of matches, the DB community has always had a fondness for Halloween as a date, it makes sense, it's a show that mostly reaches to the US and other english-speaking countries, here where I live it's a cool holiday but its not that celebrated or important, doesn’t make it less fun tho.

Regardless of that I definitely wanted October to be special, there are so many horror themed ideas and matches people push and I definitely wanted to celebrate it, so I said “screw it” and decided the whole month would be dedicated to those matches, I looked, thought of and scoured through chats and the sort to find 31 horror and horror-adjacent matches that would be fit and worthy as “halloween episodes” from the cute to the silly to the macabre, all of them awesome however. From movies to games to books and series I took from as many sources I could, it was most definitely a challenge, one I was very happy to tackle, but with that mentioned let's dive in the spoopy month!

1-The Tallman (Phantasm) vs Pinhead (Hellraiser/Hellbound Heart)

Starting out with a bang, this one is prolly one of the most mentioned when it comes to horror movie icons. Perhaps not as huge as some, but definitely having cemented their place in the history of the genre with cult-classic movies that have been beloved and influential. The otherworldly creatures, incomprehensible to mortal minds. It just sounds awesome and you could do something unique with all their reality-warping powers, I think it has deserved its spot as one of the community’s most wanted matches, just had to include it.

2-Jill Valentine (Resident Evil) vs Regina (Dino Crisis)

Dino Crisis is awesome, a remake would be awesome Capcom!.... Please?...pretty please? Jokes aside, this match is just one of my favorites (if not my favorite) for Jill, she gets around a lot in these circles, people want to find a match for her and it makes sense, she’s awesome. Of all of them though I like Regina the most, I feel like it matches the best in terms of tone and weapons and the sort, also having people trying to explain Dino Crisis lore sounds funny. In short I just think its a simple but sweet match, the ladies stuck in a facility involved in some sort of experiment gone wrong and forced to fight their way through, it's neat.

3-Xenomorphs (Alien) vs Necromorphs (Dead Space)

Army fights are always great, this one is definitely one of the more unique ones, makes you wonder how they would do it a hive vs hive type of situation I assume, either way it sounds very fun, ots simple but it works, and Dead Space is just a big love letter to Aliens so it also works from a thematic standpoint lol. It just sounds like a fun time, next to Metroids vs Xenomorphs I think this would be the most fun way to bring them in. Not much else to say, it just sounds mad fun.

4-Alessa Gillespie (Silent Hill) vs Alma Wade (F.E.A.R)

It would not be horror without Silent Hill, one of the most influential, amazing and important horror game series ever made, to not put at least 1 SH matchup in this month would have been a sin, however it is admittedly hard to find matches, this one however I really do like. The theme is as simple as it gets, I assume it's easy to guess from the thumbnail, the supernatural creepy girls that run a ruckus, also, F.E.A.R, need to play it, as a fan of boomer shooters its on my list of games to play, heard good things about it and I wanna try it.

In short this match just sounds fun, can have a very nice vibe if one is right and I feel even a blog on it would be interesting. Me likey.

5-Sir. Arthur (Ghost n’ Goblins) vs Dirk the Daring (Dragon’s Lair)

This one I admit is one of my ideas that I came up with, at the time I almost wondered why nobody had proposed it before, I feel like it fits very well. The daring knights that fight monsters, demons and wizards of every variety inside haunted castles and even other dimensions to save the princess. Simple, but it works! Dirk and Dragon’s Lair has a surprising amount of material surprisingly, many more games than the ones we take for granted and it would mean that the two can make full use of their entire arsenals, it sounds absolutely wonderful and I think it's very fun conceptually, it has the right amount of cool and goofiness you would want for both characters. I feel it's a very fun match, probably the best for both aside from perhaps, Sir Fortersque from MediEvil whom is also my goat.

6-Homura (Madoka Magica) vs I-No (Guilty Gear)

WITCHES, they do be witching. Time, it does be timing, and these time-traveling super witches are the top of the top. It's simple, in themes at least, but from all the stuff I’ve heard the match is anything but simple, both have lots of abilities and the sort that make it a very cool and interesting analysis and worth looking into. There are many Homura matches, some (if not all) p’good, however I feel this is my favorite, and has slowly become one of my most wanted matches because of it. I feel the potential is rather huge and would be more than happy to see it fully realized.

7-Spinal (Killer Instinct) vs Cervantes (Soul Calibur)

Undead fighting pirates, oddly specific? Yeh, fucking cool as hell? YEH, this one has been discussed to every corner I feel, somehow staying strong over the years and remaining one of the few fighting game ideas that has a chance at happening. It sounds neat, both series are neat, the characters are neat, all around, pretty neat! I like it. Make it happen.

8-Remina (Hellstar Remina) vs The Iris (Gemini Home Entertainment)

This matchup is basically Ego vs Mogo but evil, I like it, tho lovecraftian-esk living planets that don’t really care about humanity but are just looking to eat and consume, it's just p’peak, also the first time I did analogue horror in a VS match! Definitely noteworthy, on its own the match is daily simple, not much else to say, aside from the fact that it would be awesome and hype as hell,not much else I can add, its just a fun idea honestly, go read Junji Ito’s stuff (God Knows the poor guy can’t get good adaptations) and see GHE, both are great.

9-Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog (Monty Python) vs The Pomeranian (Tokyo Jungle)

I won’t even extend much on this, it's just peak, go play Tokyo Jungle and see Monty Python’s Holy grail and come back to this TN and agree with it. Its absolute peak fiction. That is all.

10-The Flying Dutchman (Spongebob) vs King Boo (Mario Bros.)

Ghosts, they fly, they are spoopy, they go “wowooooowowowowowowowo” or something, they are pretty cool honestly, ghosts are cool, they are fren. For the longest time I’ve legitimately really wanted King Boo to be in a DB (my will will be fulfilled in Bowser vs Eggman) but I feel the fella by himself can have an episode on its own, the guy just has that much material so for me it became a matter of wondering who could Boo fight, I know Gengar is an obvious and popular one, and even tho I don’t exactly hate it, I can’t say I find much joy in it either, tho it admittedly sounds fun.

This one just sounded even more fun, admittedly similarities wise aside from the obvious might not yield much result, I feel the concept onto itself is just interesting enough to say “yea its neat lets do it” these 2 ghosts that just like to haunt people sounds fun, and fun is essential. Its simple but I like it, also this TN was stupidly fun to make, I am so happy with it, its probably my favorite of this entire month lol.

11-Ghostface (Scream) vs The Fisherman (I Know What You Did Last Summer)

Spite is a powerful thing, same thing for revenge-seeking, strong feeling, so what happens when we take some of them most spiteful slasher killers there are? Well we get this matchup, it honestly just sounds like a lot of fun, simple, to the point. The match does have some issues, mostly because the 2 characters, specially ghostface, have had many characters take the mantle and its not just one singular entity. However the blog above presents a good compromise that I feel a normal DB would follow if they were ever to do it.

In short, I just think this match is very fun, very unique and most of all, interesting, I give it 17 meat lover pizzas out of 1 bag of Doritos.

12-Davy Jones (Pirates of the Caribbean) vs Night King (Game of Thrones)

This one is a friend of mine and I love a lot (hi Purp if u see this) admittedly the idea of these cold-hearted monsters that were kinda screwed over by the gods of their respective gods of their own worlds is simple but fitting, if you go with the books, the night-king in there is essentially very similar to Davy, in love with a supernatural woman and leading to tragedy.

In short, I like this match, it's simple, and I feel you can do it a 1-v-1 or bring in their armies, the crew of the flying dutchman vs the white walkers, The Kraken vs zombie Viserion, it would go hard as hell honestly, I like this match a fair bit, is it perfect? Nah, can u prolly find better for both? Yeh, but I'm happy with it. It's good.

13-Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) vs The Hillbilly (Death by Daylight)

Crazy men from the countryside with chainsaws what the fuck is there not to love? Its peak fiction, simple, to the point, full of action, insanity and just overall craziness, the sound of sparks flying and chainsaws being turned on it wounds awesome, also its just Texas Chainsaw and DbD two series that people would, I feel, really like to see in DB at some point or another. It just sounds fun, It's one of those matches that I can just see play in my head. It's absolutely incredible and I feel it's a lot of fun! And like I’ve said many times, sometimes you just need that.

14-Sinestro (DC Comics) vs Morgoth (Tolkien’s Legendarium)

Sinestro, Sinestro, Sinestro, bro is very popular, makes sense he is THE Green Lantern baddie. Finding a match people like for him has been a difficult task, now I could just end this with a “till now” but lol no, I feel for a lot of people the quest for a Sinesto match keeps going, I had 2 options here, the two I really liked a lot, one was The fallen from Transformers and the other was Morgoth, I like both, do I love em? Perhaps not but I feel that the two are pretty darn good and kinda tackle what I wanna see from the characters in a fight, so both are good and love ‘em. Mogroth was the one I went with because the idea of “fear” is one that fit the halloween vibe a bit more, but had it not been by a coin toss it would of been the Fallen lol.

Regardless, the match I feel its fun, these lords that use fear to conquer is simple but works! I just wish that Morgoth had visual material for en episode, aside from that hurdle, it sounds fun.

15-Art the Clown (Terrifier) vs Ronald (RackaRacka)

When I got recommended to do this match I was immediately grabbed onto it not because of Terrified (I don’t have the stomach to see them) but because of RackaRacka, I grew up with that stuff, some of the most classic Youtube there is came from them, with classics like Harry Potter vs Star Wars and obviously, the Ronald shorts, this fight is just… unhinged. But in the right way.

These murderous crazy clowns that just do bad shit cus they are unhinged, it has such an insane energy to it that it cannot be honestly topped, I want this to be an actual episode lol. It sounds absolutely insane and I would love it. Its just such a funny concept lol.

16-Vlad Plasmius (Danny Phantom) vs Zs’Skayr (Ben 10)

This one has slowly become quite beloved in the community. I admit that Ben 10’s extended world is something I don’t know much about but from the little I know, this matchup sounds fun! Two ghost evil fellas going at it sounds interesting. I can’t say that I can add much to the discussion of this one, but I can say that it definitely sounds fun and that's enough for me, making the TN itself was a lot a lot of fun, people seem to really like it and that's enough for me.

17-Beetlejuice vs The Mask

With the sequel to Beetlejuice out a lot of people were thinking of ideas for the guy. I actually hadn’t seen the movie until recently (my short review is that it's fun) . I haven't seen the sequel yet but I'm guessing it's at least entertaining. Lots of people want Beetlejuice vs the Ghostbusters which, honestly? Its based as fuck lol, its a great idea. So why didn’t I go for it? Mostly because of the cast of this match lol.

This idea I also think to be pretty darn fun, it just has that crazy to it y’know? Simple but it works, and has all of that glorious cartoon violence. It's simple but it works for a runback for the Mask. tho any other idea for Beetlejuice also works nicely. In short, this is fun, would like to see it and Beetlejuice in general.

18-Slayer (Guilty Gear) vs Demitri (Darkstalkers)

Fighting game vampires, that is all that needs to be said, ts a match I really like (even if Darkstalkers gets another L) and in general it just has this huge hype potential to it, these are some very hyped up characters in their worlds and it would just sounds awesome honestly, idk, it just sounds like a fun match overall and I quite love it.

Also we need the Slayer Midnight Bliss, that’s a must if this match happens.

19-Sukuna (JJK) vs Muzan (Demon Slayer)

Anime demons, fraudkuna and fraudzan. Jokes aside people have been looking for a Sukuna matchup for basically since JJK was a thing, he just has that “ITS HIM” reputation alongside the “HE’S A FRAUD” energy to him that makes it always funny to see the discussion around it honestly, and because of it Sukuna has been getting thrown at basically everyone. For this TN it was basically between Muzan or Demon King Piccolo. Both I really like and think you could do something extremely cool with honesty, at the end I decided on Muzan because some friends were talking about it in discord and it sounded fun! So I went with Muzan, it also has that “old japanese era” aesthetic that's very cool, I think it would make for an interesting fight.

20-Medusa (Soul Eater) vs Orochimaru (Naruto)

Asshole mad scientists with unhinged methods, also anime and snakes!!!!!

This match gained lots of traction. I want to say all the way from last year and honestly? Yea it vibes hard, both have so many interesting abilities and stuff that it would make for a super interesting fight and, like I said, the thematics of the crazy scientists + snakes make sense, also I just really wanted to include soul eater in October, it just makes perfect sense. Aside from that however I just feel this would be a super fun matchup, where I feel both series can really pull the weird stuff in terms of jutsus and magic. It just sounds mad fun and I would be more than happy if it happened, it has become of of my fav Soul Eater matches.

21-Rick Grimes (The Walking Dead) vs Joel (The Last of Us)

It wouldn’t be Halloween without zombies of some kind, and survivors of zombies too! Admittedly this match might come off as “Ellie vs Clementine but grown ass men” and yea, in a way it is that, but I didn’t just wanna do Ellie vs Clem and this seemed like a fun challenge, also had a lot of fun with the back, I feel it's one of those super simple matches that just kinda click. There is niceness in its simplicity.

22-Dracula vs The Monster
(Universal Monsters)

The Universal monsters always get thrown around this time of year, they are the classic of the classics, the mummy, Dr.Hyde, The Monster and Dracula! They are the big spooky, saw a few of these movies recently and they hold up a lot, they are p’peak.

Either be this be just between these 2 or the monster battle royale its good by me, the movies are mad fun and making the TN was a fun as hell time, I loved it so much, playing with the colors and making the BG’s like the movie posters and the sort, it was so good and had a blast, I feel this match would be an absolute blast.

23-Robbie Reyes (Marvel) vs Devilman (Devilman)

Devilman would be fun to have on an episode, so many variations of the character tho, he has a very long history. It's a fun concept tho and I would like to see it, funny enough a Ghost Rider seems to fit the best. The concept of the men possessed by a powerful entity is kinda hype.

This tn was simple, but I liked the end result. I tried to get Devilman’s side as close to the devilman crybaby posters and that was a lot of fun trying to imitate the style. Robbie’s side just had a lot of fire which is always a fun time. Also yea this match sounds fun, I can’t say much on Robbie’s side but people seem to enjoy it.

24-Martians (Mars Attack) vs Klowns (Killer Klowns from Outer Space)

Killer aliens, one are clowns, one are big brained fellas. I have… not seen these movies lmao, I don’t know much aside from the fact people like this matchup, that's enough for me. 👍

25-Hades (Disney’s Hercules) vs The Devil (Cuphead)

This match works a bit better with the Cuphead Show’s version of the Devil, which, I admit, its a show that doesn’t fully click with me (its not bad at all just aint my thing) but regardless of that I just like this one a lot, the underworld bosses with a sense of humor making deals with their protags and stuff? Hell yea, makes a lot of sense.

This one would be a blast, I feel like I don’t have much to say. I just feel it would be a lot of fun to explore and perhaps it might be even? I have no idea.

26- Amoeba Boys (Powepuff Girls) vs the Ghosts Gang (Pac-Man)

God I want a matchup for the Pac-Ghosts, so many cool ideas out there for them, one of my favs is the Ghostbusters and, honestly? Something like the Doronjo Gang or Team Rocket kinda work too, something about the classic funny gang that always has their plans blow up in their face would work for me, and the Pac-Ghosts have so much material, and I mean a LOT of it.

Pac-Man takes the spotlight (for obvious reasons) but the Ghosts also have a lot to ‘em, mechs and magic items and the sort that would make for a super fun episode, so why on god’s green earth I choose the fucking Amoeba Boys as their match?

Honestly? It sounded the funniest to me, and that single handedly made it worth it.

They don’t appear a lot nor are like one of the PPG’s heavy hitters but they are a silly lil’ bunch of guys, and the Pac-Ghosts are also silly lil guys, and that was enough for me. It sounds like a funny match to see the underdogs duke it out in an all-out brawl. And that is enough for me.

27-The Thing vs the Blob

Assimilation is scary when you think about it, losing your identity to something much greater like a hive-mind, it scary, and this match is prolly the one that best encapsulates that vibe, also this match was cool wanted to make it like a poster, it's a simple idea but it works! Also a reminder that the Thing video game shooter was based and epic.

28-Springtrap (FNAF) vs The Man in the Suit (Unknowingly)

Honestly, one of the whole reasons this month was all horror themed was because of this TN, I have wanted to make it for a loooooooooooooooooong time, this TN was supposed to come out in September but I pushed it back enough for it to be here.

Springtrap has lots of matches, some of them are awesome, some of them I admit to not fully understand, but regardless, if FNAF is one day getting in the show, it's because of Springtrap, so for me it was essential to bring up my favorite matchup for him. And well, it's this one! I like the idea of the man trapped inside the suit, the spiteful killer. You can even bring in the other animatronics and suits into the fight, and both have enough supernatural abilities to make it entertaining and fun! It's just a very fun idea. I like it a lot, it's never happening in the actual show but god imagine if it did lol, it would make my month.

29-Jumbo Josh (Garden of Banban) vs Huggie Wuggie (Poppy’s Playtime)

30-Pyramid Head (Silent Hill) vs The Crooked Man (Strange Men Anthology)

This one was brought up to me by my friend Kingsly, I admit, I’ve been meaning to put something from an RPG Maker game in the daily tn for a while, never expected it to be The Crooked Man tho, but I kinda like this idea, essentially the made-monsters in some way, its simple but the general vibe and supernatural energies and just horror the two share are similar and sounds fun its simple, def a wild match of Pyramid Head, but I quite like it.

31-Nyarlathotep (Lovecraft Mythos) vs Shuma-Gorath (Marvel)

God this match, I wanted to also do it alongside Springtrap vs Man in the Suit for a while now but I never got around it because I didn’t want to use Nyarlathotep art that was fanart, it didn’t feel right, I wanted to portray the character as what it is, a great old one, amorphous and without any real shape (he IS the god of a thousand forms so…) so in the end, I just decided I would draw the 2 characters myself, yep, the 2 where drawn by yours truly! It was a very fun time.

The match itself I also really like, it has this strong eldritch vibe and energy, the scale would be awesome and Nyarlathotep is just one of the cooler deities in the lovecraft mythos because he actively enjoys being evil, I feel you could do something super interesting with it, its just my favorite for both.

And the scale felt so grand and epic that it only made sense for me to have it as the grand finale of October, right on Halloween night.

November

The penultimate month, the second to last one, it was definitely a challenge to come up with matches this month, but somehow I did, thanks to lots of friends and scouring through servers to look at many matches that were beginning to get popular. This month has no theme. It was a bit complicated to get one on account of being on a family vacation, so I did some of these TN’s in advance, honestly it was a nice break. Regardless, let's get this over with. Here’s November.

1-Sensui (YYH) vs Geto (JJK)

Shulk requested this one, I can’t say what the theme is or if its good or something, but I'm always happy to do things for friends, and making this TN was a lot of fun so I don’t mind, I wish I could say more tho lol, but I suppose it was a good way to get out the JJK tax early in the month lmao.

2-Sam (Death Stranding) vs Kino (Kino’s Journey)

This one came from Kingsly, good friend of mine, I can’t say that I know the gist of this match, but he seems to like it alongside others so thats enough for me, it was fun to make this TN, lots of funky editing that i really enjoyed to do, simple but it works idk.

3-Bumblebee (Transformers) vs Tails (Sonic the Hedgehog)

After in the server bumblebee was character of the day this was another matchup was brought up, the scrappy companions part of a freedom-fighting group, that want to prove themselves and also, ofc, yellow/orange-ish.

It's simple, but it sounds like a lot of fun, definitely something that would be worth looking into I feel.

4-Geralt (The Witcher) vs Drizzt (Icewind Dale Trilogy)

I admit to not know much about this one, but I assume it might have to do with monster hunters of a specific kind, sounds fun, anything with DnD and the witcher is bound to be interesting. I just wish I had more to say, but this one was fun to do! And Im happy for those that like it.

5-Naota (FLCL) vs Okarun (DanDaDan)

When the Dandadan anime came out everybody was talking about it, it became a sensation overnight, nee to see it. So naturally people started throwing around matches for the characters in the show, this one came up a lot (and was suggested by Rina thank u Rina) so I decided to do it, it harkens back to that Gwenpool vs Haruko tn I did waaaaaay back, but also wanted to add the weirdness in the backgrounds, it sounds like a fun idea.

6-Sigfried (SoulCalibur) vs Cecil (FF4)

The once corrupted knights turned into warriors of light, it's such a specific theme but it works. I feel that this is the best you’re gonna get with Sigfried, is it gonna happen? Prolly not, Ike is right there and probably more popular, but this fight I feel fits the idea better, and siegfried has lots of stuff to work with alongside cecil, I just feel it's a very fun match in general and would be pretty darn fun. It's my fav for both of them.

7-Spy (TF2) vs Agent 47 (Hitman)

Super popular match that has gained lots of traction recently, especially after the first ballot was ever announced and this was one of the potential 3D episodes. People like it, I like the idea of a fight that is more of a cat and mouse-type situation. The two using smarts and their variety of gadgets to get the jump on the other, it all sounds rather interesting and fun to see honestly, I’ve heard the match is relatively even if Spy seems to solidly win, regardles of that this fight just sounds awesome, wanted to give it that spy vibe to it so I went with the classic folder “top secret” font. It was fun.

In short this episode sounds fun.

8-Meatboy (Meatboy) vs Meatwad (AquaTeenHungerForce)

This is peak, it's the meaty bois, not much else to say, it's just peak idk go play Super Meat Boy and watch ATHF both are peak fiction I can assure you.

9-Goomba (Super Mario) vs Slime (Dragon Quest)

It sounds fun to have more fights where you have to essentially look at the species of it, this one sounds like a lot of fun, they are THE classic enemies I feel, the cute small little fellas. Would be interesting seeing them trying to hype ‘em up in an episode its simple, but it works, I really like it.

10-The Prince of all Cosmos (Katamari Damacy) vs Kirby (Hal Laboratory)

“Children of the stars” is a pretty simple and fun way to describe this matchup I feel, both franchises have this happy-go-lucky attitude to them that makes them fun and both of these are the cosmic star-children that go around and fix the cosmos for one reason or another. And also just the idea of Kirby eating a Katamari is funny. The fight sounds interesting and honestly I feel is more fun than one would expect. With all the different types of Katamay and strange abilities from being the prince of the cosmos and Kirby being… well Kirby would lend itself to a very interesting episode I feel.

Of all Kirby runbacks I’ve seen this honesty sounds like the best to me.

11-Captain Titus (Warhammer Space Marine) vs Jim Raynor (Starcraft)

Space Marine became a very popular game around this time, hell the DB team had titus in a cast and Warhammer is a series that would be fun to see in an episode. I saw many ideas for Titus, but a good friend of mine proposed this one and yea, it sounded awesome. The elite soldiers of space, though Jim became a bit of a pirate but still badass.

Starcraft and Warhammer have a very good synergy together and have this very good energy together, idk, I feel that would be super interesting to see.

12-Henry Stickmin(Henry Stickmin) vs The Second Coming (Animator vs Animation)

God this one just sounds like absolute peak lmao, it's one of those matches that was just kinda made to be in DB to a degree, i grew up with the Animator vs Animation shorts on Newgrounds, some of the most peak stuff my little self ever witnessed as a kid, little did I know this thing was like… a whole series with like, arcs and stuff lol, and yea, I would love to see the second coming in an episode, it just sounds very fun. Henry Stickmin I also played when it was on the interwebs, fun games though I admit I may not have the same emotional weight as for others. But regardless I know this match has a lot of followers and makes a lot of people happy, it makes me happy for sure and it sounds absolutely awesome. A celebration of Newgrounds in a way.

13-Archer (Archer) vs Stan Smith (American Dad)

14-V (V for Vendetta) vs Rorschach(Watchmen)

Psychopathic vigilantes of super morally questionable methods that people somehow go “yea he just like me frfr”. That aside the match sounds super fun, hell there is even a blog on it that is a very recommendable read whenever you feel like and have the time.

The match is very simple in concept idea but the tone of it speaks great volumes, I can just see it in my head being this hype as hell concept that can hardly be matched, its interesting, and definitely I wanted a simple but grungy TN, something with fire and that gave those classic watchmen vibes.

15-Overlord (Transformers) vs Juggernaut (Marvel)

Juggernaut is a popular character, bro gets lots of matches, between this and archie knuckles this one sounds the most fun. It really has the “unstoppable force meets immovable object” energy to it that I appreciate and would like to see from a Juggernaut match, something that honestly doesn’t get like, DBZ-esk, just give me 3 absolute units punching each other in the face that's what a good Juggernaut match sounds to me honestly. And Overlord sounds like a cool as hell Transformers character to explore, maybe lesser known but definitely beloved and fun in his own right so, yea, idk sounds fun to me.

16-Ichigo (Bleach) vs Yusuke (YYH)

This one goes out to Speedy, I asked him for a matchup and he said this so here it is! This match in particular I’ve seen has gotten a lot of traction, Yusuke is a character I feel that people would love to see in an episode, an Ichigo, well, is on a similar boat, people want the runback for the guy, and the idea of the spiritual world-type of idea seems to work for both, and it sounds nice in general. It was very fun to make this TN, I wanted to make it flashy. But in general this match sounds fun, can’t say I know much of the two but I know enough for me to say “yeh makes sense, sounds hype”.

17-Warrior of Light (FF1) vs The Avatar (Ultima)

I assume not a lot know or remember what Ultima is, but all you need to know is that is essentially the grandad of all JRPG’s and Western RPG’s alongside Wizardry, admittedly the games have fallen a bit behind since the 90’s but the fact of the matter is that they are super important hell, there is a reason why Final Fantasy uses the world “Ultima” for its spells.

Regardless, I say this because I really like this match, it feels like the ultimate old-school RPG fight, these 2 silent protags armed with everything, it just sounds like a fun match to analyze and investigate, definitely a contender for a blog perhaps.

18-Copen (Striker Gunvolt) vs Zero (Megaman X)

Jokes asie this match rocks, its hype as hell, that is all. Read the blog under the TN for more info on this match, does a better job than I could ever.

19-Beatrice (Umineko) vs The Princess (Slay the Princess)

I was told this match was cool so I did it lmao, I can’t say that I know much about this or what the general theme is but I’ve been told it is rather interesting and I wanted to explore the weird “multiple routes” idea of each, which sounds neat and interesting! I need to play Slay the Princess, I’ve heard it's very good, just haven't gotten to it yet.

20-Rimuru (That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime) vs Ainz (Overlord)

I don’t know much about Isekais lol, but I do know people like em, and when asking about isekai matches this one came up and said “sure” and did it, I know literally nothing about either but I know people really like this match! And that makes me happy, apparently people would want it as an army battle which sounds absolutely insane but who am I to judge. If I had to choose between the two I go with the slime, slimes are cool.

21-Sharktopus (...) vs Indominus Rex (Jurassic World)

(GO SEE THE NOT DEATH BATTLE BY NEMESIS GRAAA)

The goverment made super animals, its peak, it would be awesome, we need this episode as a species to happen, would be fucking awesome. That is all.

22-Count Dooku (Star Wars) vs Saruman (LotR)

Yes, I was obligated to use Christopher lee for the two of them. His acting is unmatched and these characters are also epic. It makes sense too! Its like Obi-Wan vs Gandalf but evil and Idk, I like that quite a bit, it sounds like a cool clash of powers that might be interesting to see in a fight, analysis wise it's easy, Dooku kinda clears house, but honestly I just think the fight would be awesome.

23-Carmen Sandiego vs Kim Possible

After Batgirl got feed to spiders Kim has had a few matches proposed, she is surprisingly popular and an episode with her would be cool, I grew up watching the show and would be cool to see it have an episode, of the choices I was told that weren’t Batgirl this one sounded very fun, need to see the show still, but from the little I was told it makes sense and sounds fun. A bit of a cat & mouse type of vibe to it I suppose, but very cool regardless.

24-Kirito (S.A.O) vs Sung Jin-Woo (Solo Leveling)

I gather that this one is video game-related isekai? From the little I know anyway, again I'm not very good with isekais in general, but I’ve been told Solo Leveling is actually cool so who knows, might check it out.

25- Dormammu (Marvel) vs Trigon (DC)

Funky comic dark lords, not much else to add and you don’t really need much else honestly, and a simple cool idea deserves a simple and cool TN, tried to make it as official as possible and I think I succeeded, this one honestly just sounds p’epic, I like a good old evil magic fight, those are very cool.

26-CYN (Murder Drones) vs Malware (Ben 10)

I had been meaning to do a Murder Drones TN fo a while now, not cus I’ve seen it (I will at some point) but because I noticed its surge in popularity and figured it would be fun to ask around for ideas matchup-wise, there were lots of contenders, this one seemed interesting enough, the machine-possessing monsters. Sounds interesting and definitely sounds like a lot of fun, making the tn was also a lot of fun,I wanted to get weird and artsy with it. Regardless, it just sounds interesting and fun.

27-Gojo (JJK) vs Kakashi (Naruto)

As a teacher I can relate to this matchup.

Jokes aside, this one sounds like a fun way to bring these 2 back, the laid back mentor figure, apparently it's a fun discussion and an interesting debate based on if Kakashi can get through Infinity and deal a killing blow somehow. Sounds interesting honestly and would be neat to see it happen. Not much else to say, it just sounds interesting.

28-Teruki Hanazawa (Mob Psycho 100) vs Todd Ingram (Scott Pilgrim vs the World)

This one goes out to Mapache my goat, they came up with this one and it's amazing, the psychic fellas with a weird quirk to it, bald vs vegan, truly the matchup we deserve. That is all.

29-The Shadow vs The Phantom

Oldies but goodies, some of the most classic pulp, comic book heroes ever throwing hands? Hell yea sir, sign me up. The theme is that simple, it works nicely and both of these characters have had so much history that you’re bound to find some silly and cool stuff within it. Admittedly they aren’t as well known as they once were, but it would be fun to bring some of the most classic comic characters out there into the show.

30-Ness (Earthbound) vs Frisk (Undertale)

This one has slowly become a classic, one of those matches that has the “the Inspiration vs The Inspired” that has gained traction. The kids on these wacky worlds with lots of adventures. It sounds fun and interesting and has gained its fanbase, its definitely a match that would be fun to see happen. The TN was also fun to make, had to reference their game’s BG’s somehow. It was the only way to make it unique and fun, definitely one worth looking into.

The last month… the final one before this all ends, it's hard to describe what I felt when the realization hit me that I was about to end this personal project, it is very hard to fathom. Regardless, I could not give up now, I had to give it my all and so I did, I decided to take this month to finally unwind and relax, most of the matches here you will notice aren’t all that serious lol, most of them (specially the themed week) where just a way for me to relax and do some silly ideas while combining it with more normal ones, in fact this week’s theme was all around food an “food vs food” matches, it was a way to tell myself “you did it” I suppose, regardless, I would not like to interrupt more of this, let's get to the matchups!

1-Michael Bublé vs Mariah Carey

All I want for Christmas is this Death Battle, cus its peak.

2-Jack Frost (SMT) vs Cirno (Touhou)

I missed my chance to do this one on Cirno day, which made me pretty sadge, but I wanted to do a TN for this matchup, it is surprisingly popular and people seem to really like it. It made sense then to move it to december, with it being ice themed and the sort, it was a fun TN to do, and sounds like a fun match, I'm all up for it.

3-Lapis (Steven Universe) vs Flame Princess (Adventure time)

(READ THIS BLOG ITS PEAK GRA)

This one I did for the Black Shulk blog of the same idea, it was a fun blog to read and thought to myself “yea fuck it” and did this TN, the match sounds funny in its own way, definitely interesting an fun in many aspects, so I just wanted to make a TN for it, I think it came out fine. Definitely worth.

4-Clive (FF16) vs Luca (DQ5)

A good friend of mine, Mey, asked me to do this one, apparently its super thematic even tho the scale of it might be an issue, but he still wanted me to do it. It was a fun tn to make, definitely a bit out of my element but I feel I did something selectable, even if Luca’s side is a bit empty. Still, it sounds like a fun idea. FF vs DQ is always fun.

5-Akainu (One Piece) vs Thunderbolt Ross/Red Hulk (Marvel)

This one came about, once again, from one of those “characters of the day” ideas, it was Akainu and Red Hulk came about, it sounds cool. The military men with a very strong sense of what justice is and entails. Hunting the protagonist down. It sounds interesting and cool, and One Piece shenanigans interacting with marvel one sounds interesting, and Ross has some very unique powers of his own that would make an animation and a fight rather interesting. All in all, it sounds very fun, I'm down for it.

6-Amaterasu (Okami) vs Sakuna (Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin)

(OKAMI 2 BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)

Okami is one of my favorite games of all time. It's cheery, thoughtful, beautiful and most of all, its just a lot of fun. I would absolutely love to see Ammy in an episode, being it done justice. Now matchups for her aren’t rare, but they aren’t necessarily all that amazing (imo if you like ‘em more power to ya fam this ain’t for hating) I suppose they aren’t my thing.

And then I played Sakuna of Rice and Ruin and though “its just too perfect” the 2 demon slaying shinto goddesses, the games have an overall similar vibe and the 2 have more than enough for a whole episode, it is admittedly an indie niche game in the west (although popular in japan) so pushing for it its difficult, but I do not care, this matchup is pretty good.

I feel it tackles and captures both sides at their best and the animation would be DMC-styled goodness in all the sense of the word, i wanted to cook with this TN cus this matchup has slowly become one of my favorites, i would love to make a blog on it someday.

7-Louis (Metaphor) vs Edelgard (Fire Emblem:Three Houses)

With Metaphor becoming a surprise success, hit ideas were bound to happen, this one struck me as one of the best! Edelgard gets pushed around a lot, most might be familiar with Kylo, but I feel this one tackles the characters much better, definitely the style matches much more better and the themes seemed just right for this to be a good matchup. It's hard to explain. But I liked it.

8-Among us vs Fall Guys

It was too tempting to not do it, this matchup is peak, the episode is peak, I feel like I can’t say anymore than that, its just very fun and silly and weird in all the right ways and thats honestly enough for me, go on, little beans, fight for my amusement.

9-Detective Chimp (DC) vs Howard the Duck (Marvel)

The animal detectives, noir-like essence with a tinge of pulp and comedy, yes please, it sounds silly, and it prolly is, it just funny honestly. Hot much else to add or say, I just think its a very fun idea, I really wanted to give it that Noir feel to the TN, I think I succeeded.

10-Yooka-Layle vs Banjo & Kazooie

I had been waiting, all year long to make a TN for Banjo, I could not decide on a matchup for the guy, at the end I just gave up and decided to go with the obvious one, not that I don’t like it or anything, I just thought that perhaps I could find another match for the dynamic duo, but this one is fine, I like it a fair bit. Anyway, yeh, the platforming dynamic duos at it, the inspiration vs the inspired-by. Sounds fun honestly.

11-Amy Rose (Sonic the Hedgehog) vs Elphelt (Guilty Gear)

The always chasing-for-love super badass ladies, can’t say that I dislike it, in actuality I think its rather nice! Its simple but it works and regardless of scale or whatever you could do something super fun for an animation, sounds simple but sweet, and like I’ve said many times now, that is for the better most of the time.

12-Samus (Metroid) vs Firefly (Honkai Star Rail)

Samus is a character that I would love for a runback, she is also a character kinda bound to lose all of her runbacks which is a bit of a monkey’s paw moment, but one I'm willing to accept cus its not that big of a deal honestly lol.

Of all the runbacks I’ve seen this one sounds the most fun, has a simple but compelling theme and the powers and stuff feel like they would go along nicely. In short, it sounds fun.

13-Kite Man (DC) vs Mumen Rider (One Punch Man)

Be like them, be peak.

14-Skipper (Madagascar) vs Perry (Phineas & Ferb)

Animal spies, not much else to add or say, there is great beauty in its simplicity. It would be fun to see it, lots of interesting potential to be had. Idk if I can even add anything else, it's simple but neat!

15-Sailor Saturn (Sailor Moon) vs Andromeda Shun (Saint Seiya)

At the risk of sounding mean, this is like Sailor Moon vs Seiya but with a bit more… pzass? Ik it sounds mean, apologies, its just how I feel, not that I hate MoonSeiya, but I feel this match gives me what I would want to see out of the former and much more, these 2 are very cool interesting characters and have a wide variety of powers that would allow for a more interesting and fun match imo. And you can get the Sailor Moon/Saint Seiya comparison without having to jump many loops. Idk, it sounds fun and would like to see it, I think Andromeda would make a good introductory character for Seiya in the show.

16-Blade (Marvel) vs Rayne (Bloodrayne)

I had a Rayne render sitting and I wanted to do something with it so here we are, Blade sounded the most fun of all her matches, so I just went with it and I think the end result came out simple but stylized, very cool indeed.

17-Remy (Ratatouille) vs Stuart (Stuart Little)

Fuck him up Remy, my GOAT.

18-Timmy Turner vs Billy & Mandy

Sounds fun… thats about it really, can’t really say or add much, both are fun shows and it sounds like a funny idea so, yea, idk what else to say.

19-Doc. Octopus (Marvel) vs Viktor (League of Legends)

When Arcane happened this match gained a lot of traction, the scientists flesh-bound to their work in a literal way, tortured souls gone mad. There is a lot to enjoy about the matchup honestly, and with Season 2 of arcane it only feels prime time to do it or even consider it, definitely one of the more interesting LoL matches out there imo.

20-Flash Gordon vs Buck Rogers

In a similar way to Shadow vs Phantom, this is one of those super pulp, classic matches, but this time for early TV Sci-fi! Before your Star Warsesses and your Star Trekesses, sounds interesting and fun, with a noble and simple concept. I like it.

21-ulquiorra (Bleach) vs Xemnas (Kingdom Hearts)

I will say, this one was mostly an excuse for Xemnas lol, this one appeared a lot as one of his popular matches and so I did it, not much to add or say, I just think its neat and I like Xemnas so I did this hooray.

22-Coffee vs Tea

I love both, but what do you guys have to say? Who wins the battle of the comfy beverages?

23-Pepsi vs Coca Cola

I'm more of a “drink water” type of guy. Honestly, tho if I had to choose, polly pepsi.

24-Raspberries vs Blueberries

The ultimate Christmas fight, always been more of a ham guy myself.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies clear, but Oreo wins the battle of junk foodness, definitely pretty close, go composite for both and u got peak in ur hands.

27-Tacos vs Sushi

My heart of hearts says tacos, tho I love sushi too, it depends on my munchies.

28-Waffles vs Pancakes

29-Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) vs Johnny Joestar (JoJo’s)

This one was brought up I remember when people were thinking of Ed runbacks, Fullmetal Alchemist is probably one of if not my favorite anime ever so I would love to see the alchemist come back, of all his options; The Spin and Alchemy clashing sounds like a fun concept, and both of the series are all about humanity and how it prevails above most things, it sounds fun, and like an interesting idea, would be fun to see it happen.

30- Mr. Fantastic (Marvel) vs Mr. Terrific (DC)

Smartest men in their respective worlds (or some of the smartest) makes of technology, parts of great superhero teams, it sounds awesome tbh, and seeing Mr.Terrific being done justice would be something to behold, dude’s got some very cool stuff an he’s just a very cool character in general, same goes for Reed, of all his matches this one sounds the most interesting, and besides, I couldn’t do the last month without at least one Marvel vs DC match right?

Before we go

Writing this, late at night, on the verge of tears as I finally realize the weight and magnitude of what I just accomplished. I stand here, alone in front of my laptop I cannot help but feel like a great weight has been taken off my shoulders.

When I started this project I did it for fun, soon it became a thing I had to do, and from there it became a matter of discipline, while still having a lot of fun doing it. Every TN from every single day was done with as much love, time and care that I could muster, at least an hour per day to each. Every time I had to look for resources and make renders a new bout of excitement took over me, it was something magical, I knew I could do it, but I never truly knew if I WAS going to do it, but… here we are. Finished, one TN per day, just as promised, a whole year without stopping. Let this be a sign for everyone reading this, never give up, put your mind into it, right now, after finishing this, I feel like I can do anything in life.

To say this has been a weird year for me would be an understatement, it has been without a doubt a year for me to really take care of myself in a mental sense, and this project, the daily TN, I feel helped me focus my mind into something positive, and healthy, that allowed me to improve my skills while teaching me a life lesson, that good things require discipline.

Of course, I did not do this alone, I had friends, both irl and online that made this possible, it would be a long list to put them all here, from the top of my head I can mention: Maxxine, Munch, Tinnie, Kiwi, Shulk, PinneapleCarmine, Purp, Kingsly, Mey, Meddiadus, Dek, Starlou, Homie, and so, so many other people that were there for me whenever I felt like this was useless, that I couldn’t do it, they were there to let me know that the light I sought was within me, and gave me a hand to help me stand up when I needed it most. Same goes to my family, for supporting me through this harsh year and helping me finally find myself, and my reason to be, I would be nothing without them, and I love them.

I don’t know what the future holds for me, but the only way to know is to live, and I want to keep living, I feel happier than I’ve felt in years, and I thank you all, the readers and friends and everyone. May this upcoming year bring many blessings, and I hope it goes well for everyone.
