Ani's Year of TN's: The First Part
Just a few things before we start…
Good morning, evening or night. Whichever
finds you well in this fine day you’re reading this: Im glad to have another
blog out. While I work on both big and small blogs I wanted to do something a
bit different now, a personal thing of mine that I just wished to share with
everyone that reads this.
For those that don’t know, I like making
edits, small and weird edits or funny edits. Usually in edition and other
programs to just, have some fun, specially I like making Death Battle
thumbnails. Idk, I always found it fun to do ‘em, they are an interesting way to
hone in my skills and improve while having some fun and challenges along the
way. I say this because in 2023 I wanted to try something, I wanted to make a
TN per day, to try and have a full calendar of matches.
Thing is that the project didn’t last long,
life and personal matters got in the way and I simply lost the belief in myself
and motivation, but the thought still lingered on me; I wanted to try it.
And well… that brings us here, for the
better part of this year I have been doing 1 thumbnail per day non-stop in the
hopes to fulfill that promise I made to myself, and to prove that I can do
something. It’s a personal project, for some it might even seem cheesy (and I
don’t blame any) but I wanted to share all of these TN’s and my thoughts and
process when making them.
Now, there are 12 months in a year, so I
figured the most optimal way to make blogs documenting this would be 4 blogs
with 3 months each, this blog signifies the first 3 months of this project
which hopefully will continue until 2025.
The TN’s are all made by me, and feel free
to use them if you want to (credit is appreciated but not obligatory) and
again, I would like to thank everyone that has supported me with this silly
little blog of mine, it means the world to me. But enough of me getting
emotional, we’re here to witness matchups galore!
January
This first month I suppose it was a bit like; me being pretty stressed on making a good first impression on myself and wanting to do something worth everyone’s time. I had something far from organized, I only really had a vague idea of what TN’s I had planned so everything felt a bit more sporadic, I just hoarded a bunch of renders for things I wanted to do and just kinda got to work, this process I would kinda hone in with time and would sharpen into something better of course, but I'm quite happy with this first month, I would go as far to say it has some of my best TN’s ever. I don’t think I could quite repeat this “lightning in a bottle” moment, I just feel I wanted to prove myself and because of it just wanted to do something people could be happy about.
This also started something I tried to do for each month, where I took a week of each to do matches with a theme for that entire week, this Month’s theme was the enemy of any VS debater, women, It started at Poppy vs Tinkaton and ended at Sakura vs Maam.
So, let's get into it cus there’s a lot of stuff to go through.
1-Destroyah (Godzilla) vs Iris (Gamera)
The fella that killed Godzilla vs the fella that killed Gamera, honestly what is there not to love? This was a match I had seen many times before in videos and “Top Wanted” lists and for a time I was pondering about it, it seemed odd and wasn’t fully there for me but the more and more I got into Kaiju stuff I couldn’t help but to just, really really like it. It sounds awesome, big monsters throwing hands? Yeeeeeh that sounds neat. I felt it was a good “explosive” way to start this project and honestly? I’m pleased with how it came out.
2-Q Rex (PR: Time Force) vs Grimlock (Transformers)
Robot dinosaurs? Hell yea give me that, its cool, it sounds cool and it looks cool in my head, It feels like the spiritual successor of Dinozord vs MechaG so I'm down for this 100%, super fun to do this TN, also shoutouts to Dek, my goat, this one’s for you bro.
3-Estark (Dragon Quest) vs Gilgamesh (Final Fantasy)
Finding a gilgamesh render that matched Estark’s was a fucking nightmare, making a render out of it was an even bigger nightmare (yoshitaka amano however is my beloved so it was worth it all) it marked the first time I would ever have to manually do a render for a character, it would also not be the last. As far as the matchup goes it is pretty cool, I like the idea of these creatures that just kinda pop-up across their some series to throw hands, it’s p’cool. The tn itself came out alright I suppose. I think I overdid it with the pretty lights but overall it came out ok-ish. This one’s for u Munch and also Shulk if u’re reading this.
4-Tiamat (D&D) vs Alduin (Skyrim)
Would you guys believe me if I said you’re gonna see DnD more than trice in the duration of this project? Well ya better believe it cus its true! At around this time a good friend of mine was introducing me to DnD, was helping me set up my character and everything (artificer btw) and the idea of just the series being in a possible episode came to mind, at the point my only real introduction to DnD was the Capcom arcade game, but by getting to read and play it it just seemed cool and Tiamat is cool so wanted to do a tn with it! Alduin just kinda came naturally after that, who wins? No clue, but it sounds cool, Anyway magic dragons go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
5-Mogo (DC) vs Ego (Marvel)
The idea of 2 big-ass planets just fighting like its DBZ never stops being funny to me, it sounds like a blast and I am 100% on board with it just to see it happen, I do not care that its Marvel vs DC or whatever like; Its 2 big fuck-off stone meatballs that shoot lasers in space what is there not to love! I wanna see this one so bad lol. The TN came out nice I think, particularly fond of the Ego side of things.
6-King Ghidorah (Godzilla) vs Deathwing (WoW)
2 dragon fights in the same month? Sure why not. This one you see a lot, it probably became one of the big Ghiorah matches aside from perhaps Rayquaza. Big world-ending tyrant dragon dudes sounds hype as shit, idk who wins but I'm just happy to see my boy Ghidorah, the Astro-Monster deserves a spot. I like how this one came out tho I perhaps could have worked on ghidorah’s side a bit more, not fully 100% on it, but eh, win some lose some, one day I’ll make a TN that can make justice to the One Whom Is Many.
7-Eren (AoT) vs Kaneki (Tokyo Ghoul)
Shoutouts to Cyber, man deserves the world he is p’kewl. I admit to have read AoT and finding it just aight, funny enough Eren is prolly my least favorite character in it despite finding his arc interesting (tho the “I will become everyone’s enemy to achieve peace archetype never sat well with me) never read/seen Tokyo Ghoul but I wanna. Honestly this fight being about that previously mentioned character arc in particular sounds oddly cool, I really like it and I feel both have interesting enough movesets to do something seriously cool and from what I know of their powers it sounds kinda peak, definitely fun. It was neat to make this TN too, really like how Kaneki’s side came out.
8-Aragorn (LotR) vs Jon Snow (GoT)
I love fantasy, I love GoT and LotR, this was a no brainer. I had lots of fun making this TN and making the aragorn render lmao. In the end it's just a simple sword fight between fellas but Idk, its p’darn peak I say, I like it a lot and would love to see it become a reality at some point.
9-Baki (Baki) vs Ohma (Kengan Asura)
(What do you mean it is canon now?)
I fucking love Baki bro, its such a stupid ass series and I wanna see it on some sort of VS someday. I haven’t seen Kengan Asura (yet) but I’ve heard its peak so I'm 100% on board with this idea, just like, peak punchy punch. I wanna see people punch each other. What can I say, is its peak. Idk how I did the BG for this TN but goddam I fucking cooked so hard bro.
10-Liquid Snake (MGS) vs Albert Wesker (Resident Evil)
Weird one aint it? Def one of the less weird yet still kinda weird matches in here, but I admit to really liking this particular match, Im sure Im far from the first person that came up with it but it's definitely something you don’t see a lot, I can see why but I personally feel it has lots of potential, the kinda “resentful creations” angle is one I think it’s neat. I feel the style of MGS and Wesker in particular meshes well and you can do some interesting stuff. Throwing Wesker to get turned to mist against Kazuya is cool and all but idk, doesn’t seem much fun (to me at least I can understand why people like it tho) regardless, I think this one is cool and could be interesting and also have that hype factor (tho I also think Zeke is neat for Liquid).
11-Lupin the III’rd (Lupin) vs Sly Cooper (Sly Cooper)
I need this one like yesterday. I finished the fist sly cooper at about the same time I did this TN hence why I probably went so hard on it as I did but can you blame me? its Sly Cooper the boy deserves it. I admit to be in it mostly cus of him. I know of Lupin and seen Cagliostro but never fully engaged with the series as a whole. Would want to at some point but I admit that anime is harder for me to dive into than other things. Regardless, this is a peak idea, wanna see it happen if it ever comes to be and it's just very cool.
12-Gwen Tennyson (Ben 10) vs Atom Eve (Invincible)
I have watched Ben 10, I’ve seen a bit of Invincible, I admit to not know a lot about either, I think it’s neat, can work and I saw a lot of people like it, it became popular for a while when people were very desperate to find a Gwen matchup, and there was a lot of them floating around: Terra from FF6, some crystal gems, Star Sapphire and I think I even saw fucking uhh, Loona from Helluva Boss? Weird stuff but I settled on this one, I just really liked the magenta/pink motif and thought it was pretty, so I wanted to make a simple but pretty TN. In the end, fun times.
13-Fries Battle Royale (French Fries vs Potato Wedges vs Waffle Fries)

14-Motoko (Ghost in the Shell) vs Adam (Deus EX)
Sci-Fi super peoples its fucking awesome, I don’t really need much convincing and besides, Deus Ex and Ghost in the Shell is just very good, would be down to see it, it would be a very unique take and the way the series kinda clash in their technologies would make it so good. In the end nothing much ,just,something nice I feel. I could've done better on the TN, but eh, what's done it's done.
15-Poppy (League of Legends) vs Tinkaton (Pokemon)
I remember being particularly anxious this day in particular, why I cannot really remember but I do remember that by the time I did this the official DB Cast had done this as a matchup in their podcast recently and it sounded funny. And I needed something funny to uplift my spirits. The idea of this fight being some DBZ type fight with the two destroying mountains and shit as they swing their tiny little hammers is absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t mind seeing it. Perhaps however we just need more Tinkaton material. But I'm happy with this TN, it is simple but brings me at ease.
16-Alita (Alita: Battle Angel) vs 2B (Nier:Automata)
Finding Alita renders that aren’t fanart was the hardest part of this TN, so I just decided to make my own render cus goddam bro lol. Aside from that this match sounds peak as hell and I'm happy it has remained as strong as it has. Really cool, like how this one came out, not much else to say, let's move on.
17-Power (Chainsaw Man) vs Nezuko (Demon Slayer)
(be thankful it is not Alphonse)
I literally know nothing about these 2 shows, I have never seen them I have never engaged with them I just know people like them and they exist that is all, I was told this matchup was cool so I said “fuck it” and did it, it sounds neat I admit, but I can’t really say much about it sorry if you were expecting this to have a paragraph lol, sorry.
18-Catwoman (DC) vs Black Cat (Marvel)
(haha geddit?)
Amma be fucking real I have no real idea why I went as hard as I did for this TN but I fucking did! I cooked! I burned the kitchen down for fucking Catwoman vs Black Cat idk if I should feel proud or disgusted but regardless I am extremely proud of this one in particular cus like. I feel like I captured that vive they have y’know? As for the matchup itself, I like it, its basic I know; not particularly beloved and for some even a more bottom-of-the-barrel pick for a Marvel vs DC episode but eh, I like Selena and Felicia, they’re cool characters I wouldn’t mind a fully fledged look into them and again, it's just neat. I guess that's just how I feel, “it neat”.
19-Isabelle (Animal Crossing) vs Retsuko (Aggretsuko)
(its fucking peak)
This is one of those fights where it sits on comfortably in the “sounds fun as a crossover perhaps not so much as a battle where one has to die a brutal and horrible death” and yea perhaps it should remain as such. It was just me trying to do a funny, it's amazing how interesting a crossover type scenario would be tho.

20-Ruby Rose (RWBY) vs Maka Albarn (Soul Eater)
Sorry if Im starting to sound annoying but I fucking cooked with this TN lol. At first I hated it but the more time passes the more I like it.
For the match, I feel like it explains itself, I think it would be pretty darn cool, I like Soul Eater. Would be awesome to see Maka throw hands alongside Soul, RWBY sounds cool, it seems like a match that was just destined to be... If it DOES happen however, only time till tell, for now however only one thing to do:
I couldn't take it, couldn't stand another minute

21-Sakura (Naruto) vs Maam (DQ Dai)
I’ve seen lots of Sakura matches, frankly of all of them this one seemed the best of the lot, Its funny to ponder if there are just some characters that despite the popularity never truly have good matchups, there has to be some sort of name for that phenomenon. Regardless, this TN came out nice, bit too much on the effects I feel but came out neat regardless and like I said, sounds cool, not much else to say.
22-The Invaders (Space Invaders) vs The Galagans (Galaxian)
You people cannot even begin to comprehend how much I want this match to happen. There are not enough words in English, Spanish, French and Quenya that can grasp the sheer feelings of joy and happiness that this match brings upon me. It would take a thesis of 1000+ pages describing the intricate lore of Space invaders and Galaga for me to fully encapsulate how I feel about this match.
There are 36 trillion cells that coarse through tin layers of skin that fill my complex being. If the word “Hype” was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of mitochondria it would not equal one one-billionth of the Hype I feel for this match at this Micro-Instant for it. Hype. Hype.
A whirlwind of emotions that unironically fill me with the good kind of nostalgia invade my senses as I come to realize there will never be peak such as this, I hope to god that if (by the time I write this) DB survives they do this as an episode cus the two just has so much bullshit to look into and it would go so incredibly hard. I don’t want it.
I NEED it.
23-Mr. Game & Watch (G&W) vs ADSF Guy (ADSF)
This one just sounds funny and cool, Im happy with the TN came out awesome, I rewatched all of the ADSF movies when I did this TN, fun time, idk I really liked this dunno what else to say I just really like this idea it sounds like the funny kind of fight. Cool Stuff.
24-Knight vs Samurai
(Shout outs to MediMania’s blog on this, it’s a fun read check it out)
The Deadliest Warrior episode we never got but the one we deserved, it sounds very cool honestly, it's fun, a more historic kind of episode sounds hype. Make it happen.
25-Serious Sam vs Duke Nukem
It's just a classic man, I like classic things. What can I say, I feel this has been there ever since DB was a thing. My favorite “Press S and hold the left mouse” simulator against the outdated macho stereotype. Honestly as boomer shooter matches go this one is pretty cool cus the two have so much stupid stuff on their arsenal (specially Sam) and I feel you can make just an absolute banger of an episode, also I can’t help but wonder if Jon St. John would be on board to voice act for a DB-type episode, which would be awesome. This one is prolly one of those that I would love to see.
26- Bub & Bob (Bubble Bobble) vs Nick & Tom (Snowbros)
Listen I like Taito arcade games ok, sue me. I like Bubble Bobble and Darius and Space Invaders and silly niche scrimlos fighting for supremacy, it fills my heart with joy. I grew up playing both of these in the arcades, and we need more pair matches, this one sounds both silly and hype, it helps both games have that similar game-feel. It sounds funny and it would be funny, so yeh, not much else to say go play them both.
27-Eva 01 (Evangelion) vs Gundam Wing (Gundam Wing)
Evangelion is a weird beast to me because it's one of those shows where I go “I get it” and I don’t particularly think its bad tho I can see why people like it so much, in fact Im more glad that it exist than if it didn’t; I feel the same about something like Metal Gear for example. Just particularly not crazy about it I suppose, either way this ain’t about what I like or not. It's about big robots punching each other. And honestly I like this one, EVA has some very unique mechs with cool powers that are different from others and Gundam Wing is mf Gundam wing is hype, would be more than happy to see the clash between these 2, sounds absolutely awesome.
28-Silver Hawks vs Gatchaman
Team fights are always fun, this fight in particular could be just leader on leader or team on team and I would be happy regardless, would be fun to see it. I grew up watching these and have that same-sh vive that makes it interesting to ponder of, I admit to also liking Ken vs Nightwing tho. Still this one is p’hype.
29-Toretto (Fast & Furious) vs Kiryu (Kazuya)
Watching the F&F movies is not just an experience, its ascending to a higher plane of existence, it is realizing your potential as a human and realizing that no matter what your inner demons and doubts are, you are more than capable of creating art, of writing/drawing/directing/editing something that will stay in the collective conscious for centuries to come, and when we become dust and the next great species takes over this pale blue dot they will look upon our past art and creations and say “this truly says a lot about our society”
That is how this match feels to me, an experience, something beyond words, either be because its an uroboros of silly and hype is beyond me but it is most definitely something, I want it, I want to see it, I want to see the dame da ne guy fight bald person in a car. Give it to me.
30-Jacket (Hotline Miami) vs Hutch (Nobody)
Is it Jacket’s most requested? Lol no. Is it the worst? Not really. Is it the best? Prolly not either but I still really like it. Its hard to explain into words what I really like about this matchup in particular aside from me shilling both Hotline Miami and Nobody. I suppose the best way I can personally describe it is the theme of both, the “you like hurting people '' part of it, because that's how the 2 characters feel and even act. They are excited to cause harm, they come up with weird ways to do horrible things and yet the player and watcher can’t help but to root for the guys.
Ofc I don’t want this to become a 7-hour pretentious YT video essay about how “Nobody is the Best Movie You've Never Heard Of” but I can’t help but think about it, it sounds awesome and guttural and just harsh, I feel you can do something cool with it.
Regardless, I’m very proud of this TN, which came out raw. I'm happy looking at it.
31-Slappy (Goosebumps vs Chucky (Chucky)
They are dolls that want to unalive you, perfect for a halloween episode if you ask me. Sounds funny, sounds cool, feels like you can do some cool and silly stuff with it. I'm down. Nothing much to say, just happy I got to do a TN I felt comfortable with and I think the result came out nicely, a good way to end the first month, definitely motivating.
February
Remember that thing I said where every month I was going to dedicate a week to a specific theme? Well I LIED HAHA YOU FELL FOR MY SILLY TRICKS. Jokes aside this month I just forgot lol its ok the theme comes back immediately so dw if you are losing your mind over no themed week, however this month I was just starting to settle in to the herculean task ahead of me. But I pulled through, despite this particular month being all over the place I felt good about it. I was happy and I feel I also did some of my best here, but without anything else to say lets get a move-on, lots of matches to go through.
1-Inkling (Splatoon) vs Beat (Jet Set Radio)
JET SET RADIOOOOO its hype, I like it, it just has this very unique vive to it y’know, that funky upbeat (no pun intended) high intensity that can only come from these 2 games. I feel it would be a fun way to get new series and also just think of how cool a battle would be, like high action movement with idk it just sounds absolutely awesome, some might think Beat cannot throw hands like an inkling and to that I would like to remember everyone you fight the police and fucking tanks in the OG Jet Set Radio.
Either way, hype stuff I really like it its peak. Also hi Homie if you see this.
2.Usagi Yojimbo (Usagi Yojimbo) vs Puss in Boots (Shrek)
I love Usagi Yojimbo, I love Puss in Boots, the idea of like the animal adventurer is surprisingly neat, tho their personalities and tone are certainly different to a degree I can’t help but to imagine the fight and just how cool it would be, lots of acrobatics and jumping and swordplay and it sounds awesome so, I really wanted to give it a shot. It also helps that I’ve read Usagi Yojimbo and I cannot really stress just how great it is. It is legitimately an amazing work of fiction and would recommend anyone to give it a fair shot, it’s so good.
Im particularly happy with this TN I wanted to give each the vive that they come from their respective places and other influences like asian and european art, I think it came out rather nice, I had been aching to do a TN with the 2, I suppose it only made sense that the 2 would fight each other.
3-Giorno (JoJo) vs Joker (Persona 5)
I wanna preface this saying that I do not have any stakes in this matchup, I know people are very opinionated about it but I would rather spend my time playing actually good games and watching good anime series thanks.
Jokes (heh, joke) aside this one was a fun TN to make, the match itself I can’t help but think has become a bit of a meme, the second coming of ColeAlex if you please, but that doesn’t take away from its potential or cool factor, it sounds neat and I'm sure it would be done nicely, just can’t say I know enough (Well I do know about Giorno I just think he is as interesting as a sinking rock) but again, it sounds cool, you can do some cool stuff with it, just don’t have many strong opinions on it tbh.
4-Eggman (Sonic) vs Bowser (Mario Bros.)
I suppose just to get it out of the way first I admit that I think I could have done better on this tn, I don’t think it's terrible but something about it doesn't click with me maybe the angle should have been different, maybe it's the colors something idk. Perhaps I redo it in the future, either way.
Its a cool match! Definitely contentious too from the things I’ve heard, I admit to liking Sonic and Mario but I have never really looked at them through the VS lense y’know? For me they are just funny little games about jumping and running and they are cool. I like both however, Eggman and Bowser are very cool characters and I would adore to see them back in an episode if things come to be, either be solo or with minions. It sounds very fun. Perhaps focus on Bowser’s more magic items and abilities compared to Eggman’s more techno-based weaponry. Magic vs Technology is always fun.
5-Adam (RWBY) vs Ramattra (Overwatch)
Man I wish Ramattra did more lmao. If it wasn’t because of that I feel this would be perfect, but as it is I really like it, it sounds fun, you can do something cool with their abilities and the characters clash nicely I feel. Again I just wish one side had more material to work with but eh’ win some lose some. In the end I feel this is a simple but neat idea.
6-Komplex (Bucky O’ Hare) vs Mother Brain (Metroid)
Now, I know what you’re thinking, what the fuck is Komplex and why is this wack frog in my screen? Hear me out, mostly cus this is not the only Bucky O’ Hare character you’re going to see here (again I just love niche shit) this is another one of those super wack matches that just came to me and said “y’know… goes hard” and so I did it, getting a Komplex image to render out was a legitimate fucking nightmare but alas I was able to get something working here.
In the end I think it would be cool to see something like an RTS sorta fight y’know, the big brains sending their minions to do fight and at the very end they are forced to step in and throw hands, something the two of these can do and would go hard as fuck. In the end, its probably not the best for both, but fuck it I really like it.
7-Hyperion (Marvel) vs Power Girl (DC)
(Shoutouts to this blog on the matchup)
Yea yea I know Marvel vs DC what gives, its a common thing so get used to it appearing a lot. Granted of all of them this is a fairly unique one, think Miles vs Static but higher in terms of the drama and scale. I admit that this TN came for the blog I linked above, it was a very fun read and made me check out a few comics, I can safely say Hyperion is a very cool character, most Superman pastiches tend to be either just “haha im evil now isn’t that quirky and original'' or just straight up shit but sometimes you do truly find a good Superman-like character and Hyperion is one of ‘em.
Power Girl is also cool, don't get me wrong, I really like her arc, always found it interesting in contrast to Clark himself and it makes for infinite possibilities, so for me this TN was a no brainer. I think I'm happy with how this one came along, it's simple but neat and I feel the same could be said about the matchup.
8-The Sentinels (Marvel) vs The Daleks (Dr. Who)
Medd (hi Medd if you’re reading this) is a well of infinitely good ideas and this is just one of many goated ideas he brought to my attention, I feel like I don’t have to explain myself but the idea of silly little robots doing MvC-styled combos on each other as they try to overwhelm the each other forces in the equivalent of a mechanized war between anthills is pretty darn cool.
I really like this idea, bringing the many types of variations and seeing their strategies how they work and the sort seemed super cool. I'm just happy it exists. Honestly I really like it.
9-Katniss (The Hunger Games) vs Beatrice (Divergent)
I know 100% why I did this TN, and it was because I watched all Hunger Games movies and realized that they weren’t as bad as social symbiosis had led me to believe when I was a teenager and they were actually pretty fucking good? So when I finished them I immediately went “Katniss would be cool! But who?” and so I looked around, spent some time on the interwebs and in the house library and aside from Legolas (why) I had 2 options. Shuya from Battle Royale and Beatrice from Divergent, I chose the latter for the sole reason that I thought it would be funnier ngl. If I had to choose I would prolly go with Shuya cus Battle Royale is also p’fun. In the end I'm just surprised Hunger Games is as good as it is like goddam.
10-Water White (Breaking Bad) vs Tony Soprano (The Sopranos)
At the risk of sounding mean, never really been a fan of Light vs Walter. Now I don’t say this just to be a contrarian or because I think the people that push it are lesser or anything. I get why people like it. It sounds interesting and it's not far-fetched but I think (at least on my end) that the idea itself just misses or over-hypes certain stuff about the characters.
But regardless this is not about that match, it's just for me to say that I would like to see Walter in a fight where his luck and resources can be used in a more proper manner, but also his personality. The “I need to be right/win” kind of guy and I think Tony just fits a whole lot better, both part of huge empires, temperamental full of issues and I think you can have something interesting by discussing how much range their have, their tools and what plans they could use and again, I feel it's much more psychological than other Walter matches, also the Sopranos deserves more love. Gabagool vs Veggie Bacon hype.
11-Arcueid (Tsukihime) vs Morrigan (Darkstalkers)
Amma let you all on a little secret, I love Darkstalkers, I wish it had more love than it gets from its company, but alas sometimes you just are a fan of dead franchises (thats me Im the fan) so it's always nice to me when I see communities like these embrace these forgotten series and give them something cool. And I feel this matchup encapsulates it nicely. I should say that I know nothing about Tsukihime or with what piece of silverware you eat it, but I heard it’s ‘aight so I have faith.
As far as the match goes from the little I know it sounds cool, apparently both characters mesh well, they are cool and have similar things that make it a unique sort of matchup and honestly that makes me happy, Darkstalkers has a weird charm to it that sometimes is weird to match but I'm happy that it keeps getting love from its fans, even if its on silly VS debates they lose 90% of the time.
12-Gummy Worms vs Gummy Bears
This for some reason is one of the best TN’s I’ve ever made, I have an uncanny ability to make shitpost ideas into the pinnacle of editing magic I can muster, I love this idea tho imagine like an army fight and u give them like, tiny gummy spears and tiny gummy shields and they are like, speaking like its fucking Shakespeare:
Gummy Bear: “ I bear a charmed life, which must not yield to one of syrup born!”
Gummy Worm: “Despair thy charm, Tell thee McGummington was from the bottle’s womb untimely ripped!”
Gummy Bear: “Then I will not fight with thee.”
Gummy Worm: “Then yield thee, coward!”
And then they pull out like giant gummy swords and fucking fight atop a hill and its the hypest shit imaginable.
I dunno, think about it.
13-Lucci (One Piece) vs Grimmjow (Bleach)
Another banger from Medd, not much to say, feral felines with a thirst to throw hands get to throw hands. Its perfect, match made in heaven, one of those OP vs Bleach matches that make sense and would go hard as fuck. Not much else to say honestly I just had a lot of fun making this TN and imagining the fight in my head, goes hard.
14-Moths vs Butterflies
Seriously tho who would win this, is it like a 100 vs a 100 or is it one large species of each. I'm curious, I wanna see it. Peak Fiction I’m afraid.
15- Optimus Prime (Transformers) vs Superman (DC)
(gotta bring up that song sorry I love David Bowie)
I feel that if either Optimus or Supes were to ever come back, this is the choice. It sounds fun and interesting. I admit that it probably falls into the “better as a crossover than a Death Battle” kind of deal because c’mon I don’t wanna see either of them die bro. This year was a great opportunity for me to get into many series I have never explored before, one of them was Transformers, I grew up with it sure but never really looked deep into it aside from a passerby exposure and Optimus is just, such a great character, when he is at his best he is probably one of my favorite things ever, the strong but gentle giant that understands the fragility of life and why it must be protected. And looking into it made me realize just how intricate and weird and cool its world is. It is just awesome to learn new things. I've come to really like the series. And Superman is just one of my favorite superheroes ever put on paper, he is everything a hero should be I feel, and ever since a kid I held the character in a place deep within me, something to strive to.
In the end, cool idea but it should end with them hanging out at the local Five Guys tho.
16-Booker (Bioshock Infinite) vs Corvo (Dishonored)
I like Bioshock, I like Dishonored, the combo sounds hype, let’s get that bread. Not much else to say, not much that I feel I can say aside from the coolness factor of magic and vigors interacting and the sort, would be a different kind of fight for sure but I feel it's neat. Gib.
17-Yasuo (League of Legends) vs Lyn (Fire Emblem)
You’re probably gonna see more than one Fire Emblem match in this yearly tn thing. Before we move forward I would like to say that I’ve tried playing many FE games, I really have. I’ve given them their fair shot but for the love of everything holy I simply cannot get into them. They’re not even bad games, they simply do not call to me. I respect the fanbase tho, they clearly love the games.
Anyway, this match sounds cool, not much else to say aside from the fact that I had lots of fun making the TN, and besides I wanted an excuse to use a character in the upcoming Project L which looks siiiiiiiiiiick.
18-Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin) vs Thorfinn (Vinland Saga)
Pacifism is great, now lets have 2 of ‘em fight to the death lol lmao even. Aside from that I haven’t seen Vinland Saga yet, I wanna see it tho, mostly cus I love the viking expansion part of history and I’ve heard it is surprisingly accurate so I wanna give it a fair go. Also the idea of a samurai fighting a viking just sounds cool. Aside from that, idk, sounds cool.
19-The Ranger (Quake) vs The Hunter (Bloodbdorne)
Weird one I know but hear me out, nameless warriors flung into a strange land where they gotta fight lovecraftian monsters beyond the comprehension of any mortal being using an assortment of super duper badass weapons. Sounds fucking cool ain’t it? Well that’s why I love this matchup in particular it’s not amazing, I’m sure people have ideas for the other two, but I feel Souls-type combat mixed with that classic Quake movement would lead to some wicked cool stuff. It’s frankly a match that I think has lots of potential and a nice blend of shooty shooty and up close fighting, also the tonal clash between lovecraftian sci-fi and medieval/victorian lovecraft would go hard frfr.
20-John Rambo (Rambo) vs John Price (CoD)
Look, I like Rambo, I wanted to make a TN with Rambo so I looked at what the community had to say, Price came onto screen and I said “screw it that one” sometimes I forget CoD has a story and people enjoy it! I'm so used up to the game just being multiplayer centric that I forget it has a plot but regardless. It was fun TN to make, I admit it's 100% cus I just wanna see Rambo in something other than MK, this one sounded cool.
21-Blaze (Sonic) vs Rivet (Ratchet & Clank)
Second sonic match of the month and honestly of all Blaze matches I’ve seen is probably my favorite. Yea Rivet doesn’t have a lot of material but that hasn’t stopped many characters before. Sailor Mars is also neat but I feel the angle of the “person from another dimension” angle Rivet takes is honestly pretty cool and it's unique in that sense than just… Fire lol. Regardless I think Sonic stuff and R&C stuff mesh in surprisingly well. It sounds hype, it feels hype, it has a nice energy to it and people seem to enjoy it. I'm happy to have done this TN honestly.
I am super happy with how it came out, the BG’s specially, I used like a million references for blaze cus I wanted the specific RGB colors of the screen transitions of Sonic Stages while giving it a Spiderverse-esk glitchy vibe. Idk, came out nice I think.
22-Aang (Avatar TLAB) vs Hero of the Wild Link (LoZ)
Honestly? At the risk of sounding a tad mean? Best matchup for both, hands down. It just has all the right notes I feel, the tone is very samey you can do some very cool stuff with Link’s stuff and Aang’s bending and the setting of BotW just blends itself perfectly into Avatar and only thinking about it gets me all hyped cus you can do something extremely cool I feel.
Like yea if we get into the nitty gritty Link prolly glues Aang to a rock and Stasis-him all the way to Jupiter but think about the potential, would be an awesome fight animation and idk, I would be super happy to see bending stuff clash with your general Zelda item shenanigans. And you can also play into both’s creative nature and goofy and yet serious demeanor when they have too. It's just perfect imo, prolly one of my favorite Zelda matches out there honestly.
23-Mikey (TMNT) vs Jay (Ninjago)
I like TMNT, not a huge fan but I still enjoy it… Ninjago tho, I know nothing about lmao. I know people like it and grew up with it, apparently this matchup is super cool and thematic and would go hard as hell and I do not doubt them! This match was a DB Cast if I remember, which is why the idea to make it a TN came from, and yea, I just kinda did it. I admit I would have probably done better, but for what it is I suppose it ain't too bad. It still sounds like a very hype match.
24-Luther Strode (Luther Strode) vs Rick Taylor (Splatterhouse)
I’ve always known Splatterhouse, great games, as a fan of old arcade and retro stuff Splatterhouse just comes naturally because of its weird and strange nature amongst a crowd of mostly cheerful arcade games, Splatterhouse is gritty and gory and it has a killer soundtrack and they are just very fun games.
And then out of nowhere I remembered this comic some friends told me about (shoutouts to Kingsly and Dek) called Luther Strode. And I said “sure why not” and started it… I finished all 3 runs in 2 days lmao, granted it is very short but the series had me hooked from beginning to end, it is very addicting and incredibly well written and I couldn’t be happier to have discovered it. And then I did wonder about Luther Strode, one thing led to the other and I connected the dots and the idea came to mind. Like these tortured people that were just kind of screwed over into having great power but at great cost of their personal lives. Tragic heroes in a sense.
Granted it's not perfect, but I’ve come to grow fond of the idea and to like it, the tone of both certainly feel even. Perhaps I would like to do a blog on this one in the future, not a lot of material on either side. Would be fun.
25-Inosuke (Demon Slayer) vs Jinno (Afro Samurai)
Bigass heads, I have not seen Demon Slayer but I have seen Afro Samurai, it is very cool, short and sweet so I would love to see Jinno.also had a lot of fun doing this TN, its weird but I really did feel my photoshop game level up as I made these. Personally, I'm fond of Inosuke’s background. Aside from that I’ve heard the match is cool and fun so I'm down for it, sounds awesome and we could use some more sword fights.
26-Kuma (Tekken) vs Panda (JJK)
They do be mammals of the Ursidae family! They do be punching people! Honestly I don’t need anymore convincing I was convinced at just it being fucking a fucking brown bear fighting a panda, I want to see JJK bullshit mixed with Tekken bullshit, the ultimate hype. Give this to me, Kuma my beloved.
27-Gohan (Dragon Ball) vs Ultraman Zero (Ultraman)
Amma be fucking real idk jack butter-nut squash about Ultraman, however, I have been told that this one at LEAST makes sense as a matchup, apparently it would go hard as fuck and its the greatest invention in the Dragon Ball VS community next to sliced bread. I will say it was fun making this TN, the Ultraman Zero side in particular I am most proud of, it came out nicely I feel. In the end, it sounds fun, I wouldn't mind seeing a blog on it at some point. This definitely made me want to watch Ultraman.
28-Dr. Wily (Megaman) vs Dr. Hell (Mazinger Z)
Not going to lie I came up with this idea when I was laying in bed at like 2am while waiting for the melatonin to kick in and started singing the Mazinger Z song in my head (this one) and then I just kinda wondered about Mega Man too and kinda just went like “y’know this sounds cool” an the more I thought about it the more I just liked it? Like they are this resented super smart scientist that have stolen or found robots to try and take over the world, what is not to like? U can do something extremely cool with it I feel, either as a solo fight or an army fight, looking into their mechanical beasts and robot masters. Ofc size would be a bit of an issue cus Mazinger Z robots are on the big side of things but honestly? Wily having plenty of mechs kinda evens it out, honestly I just feel this is a cool one, has gone up there on the list for me.
29-Sarge (RvB) vs Soldier (TF2)
Im both not surprised and surprised this hasn’t happened yet, its so fucking cool lmao. It just screams cool, big explosions, extremely crusty jpegs of bald eagles and guns as they make stupid witty jokes. It's just a bit too perfect. Would love to see it happen if it comes to be.
One of those matches that was just made for VS I feel, one in a millionth opportunity to make something absolutely majestic and stereotypically U.S.A. Yes please.

This month was like, a strange realization for me, I did try this challenge last year… but It was a very hard year for me in a personal, emotional and physical level, it was hard for me to finish a month let alone keep it up for days, I lacked discipline and my emotional state didn’t help. So coming into this month I couldn’t help but be a bit scared. The last monthly TN had ended on March 2nd and I was determined to not end this month. But I would've never expected the gigantic surge of support, love and energy I had through my friends and even family. Without them I would be nothing, and even if this month is not particularly amazing or I felt I did an amazing work it allowed me to prove to myself that I was capable of doing it. And keep going, so it meant a lot to me on a personal level.
The theme of this week I suppose it's pretty easy to discern amongst the crowd here but it was comic-related matchups. There are so many of them so I wanted a dedicated week to have some of my favorites thrown in there. It started at Annihilus vs Larfleeze and ended at Old Man Logan vs Last Ronin.
1-Father (FMA) vs Belos (Owl House)
Amma be real this is the only Father match I’ve come to enjoy, idc if he wins or loses but it just sounds amazing, Owl House glyph magic and FMA alchemy just blend naturally and I can see either having the motivation of wanting to take over each other’s magic. It sounds hype and honestly I would just like to see a cool FMA fight please I need it give it to me. I feel I like Father more than most, he is a cool villain.
Anyway enough of me fangirling about FMA (its peak) this match sounds fun, I’m happy with it, would go hard.
2-Han Solo (Star Wars) vs James Krik (Star Trek)
I guess this is also one of those very curious ones where it has a lot of history going for it, it could be said that it is the ultimate War of Stars vs Trecking Stars match up out there, and there are quite a few of those. But this one does have a lot of history and people really seem to enjoy it and yea I can see why.
I always appreciate SW matches that don’t involve a force user, not cus I hate force users but cus exploring other areas of the same world is always fun, and Han is one of those cool characters that would be neat to explore. I can’t say I know much about Kirk aside from this video which is absolute peak fiction. In the end, it sounds like a fun time and I had a lot of fun doing the TN so I'm glad about how it came out.
3-Makoto (Persona 3) vs Neku (TWEWY)
Mey if ur watching this for u, u the goat god bless. I don’t know much about either. I have a friend irl that loves TWEWY but aside from that I haven’t played it, had lots of fun doing the TN tho, I love doing the BG’s as if they were straight from official game art, makes me happy.
4-Surge (Sonic) vs Juri (Street Fighter)
This won’t be the last time you will see Juri btw, she is very popular I wonder why. Regardless, despite how strange this matchup looks at first glance it makes sense, just hatred incarnate. It sounds fun and from the little I know of Surge it sounds like the power mesh well and would be a lot of fun so, I’m down, sounds cool.
5- Xena (Xena Warrior Princes) vs Red Sonja (Conan the Barbarian)
Sword and Sorcery has to be one of my favorite things ever. I like fantasy and I love to see stuff like barbarians, weird sorcery, stories of legend and Conan-lore fulfills that in spades. This match in particular was one of those that I had seen many times. It is just one of those “it clicks” battles. Both have had a long history of shows comics and the sort and analyzing it and just having a fully fledged episode analyzing both would be extremely fun.
Again its just one of those matches that almost feels perfect for a crossover fight with like some cool as fuck background narration and a choir in the back, so yea, all in all I would love to see this one.
6-Naughty (Naughty Bear) vs Flippy (Happy Tree Friends)
Shoutouts to Maxxine for bringing this matchup into my brain because now I’m unable to get it out of my brain, it's so peak, maybe it's the juxtaposition of teddy bears exploding into a billion chunks but it's just a very funny idea that kind of writes itself, its very good. I want it.
7-Terra (TT Animated series) vs Toph (Avatar TLAB)

Honestly if Toph is ever to come back this is the play, it sounds fun, it feels fun, it probably is a lot of fun. And realistically there is not much else to say, it just sounds extremely cool bro lol, throwing rocks go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
8-White (Neon White) vs V1 (Ultrakill)

I was helped to make an entire blog on this matchup so i don’t feel like I have to really expand myself a lot so just to be very honest, this is incredible, both amazing games, super fun, fight would go hard as fuck, yes please.

9-Satsuki (Kill la Kill) vs Erza (Fairy Tail)

I like Kill la Kill, idk much about Fairy Tail, but I do like Satsuki so… yea peak idk it’s p’cool I like it. Give me a Satsuki matchup cus she's cool she based and perhaps even peak fiction. Oh yea the TN was fun to make too.
10-Annihilus (Marvel) vs Larfleeze (DC)
I know fucking nothing about these two aside from that Annihilus is a big &stronk bug fella and Larfleeze is a big bug fella but with a lantern ring but I know people absolutely adore this matchup, and after reading Bang’s blog on it? Yes I can see the vision. I respect it too. It would go hard and I feel it's one of those fun battles where the 2 characters would just be cackling as they say goofy but menacing Comic stuff.
Also very happy with how this TN came out specially Larfleeze’s side I cooked so had bro.
11-Brainiac (DC) vs Shockwave (Transformers)
Sometimes I just find a comic matchup that I like, I mentioned before that I was getting into Transformers as a series and yea Shockwave is just a highlight of it cus my bro is absolutely relentless, he do not be giving 0 fucks about anybody’s safety bro just be a cold engine of logic built to do whatever it takes to achieve maximum hating.
Of course not all Shockwaves are built the same, but I like that interpretation that has slowly taken over the character which is of this cold engine of logic, perfect for Brainiac to be honest, recognizable Supes villain and smartypants extraordinaire. The fight would go absolutely hard as they jump between bodies and try to predict the other's movement and it would go so incredibly hard.
This shit be lit make it happen idc (Ultron is also fine tho that one is neat too).
12-Gwenpool (Marvel) vs Haruko (FLCL)
Gwenpool gets thrown to a lot of characters doesn’t she? Def weird, I wanted to do a Gwenpool TN for the longest time but never settled on a character, till I remembered Haruko, now, I haven’t seen FLCL (by the time this is posted I might have already started it) but from what I’ve heard the matchup is p’neat so I trust my homie’s words.
Aside from that ngl, I think this is my favorite TN I’ve ever done, it has a charm I will never be able to capture again. It is amazing, and I love it, went hard on it. Bless.
All in all? Sounds peak, need to watch FLCL and read me some Gwenpool comics.
13-Mysterio (Marvel) vs Scarecrow (DC)
Batman and Spidey characters just can’t stop throwing hands amongst themselves can’t they? They can’t help it like, it's encoded into their DNA that they gotta throw the meanest hands known to man. Sometimes this doesn’t fully fit but sometimes it just clicks, and when it does lord almighty it clicks specially hard, this one is one of those occasions. The masters of bringing the unknown into the physical world, straight up horror movie characters made comic villains is so fucking cool bro, the potential is all there, the hype factor off the roof. Honestly I would love to see it would go hard as fuck. Also happy with how the TN came along, this was when I was exploring more with different types of brushes and effects.
14-Rocketeer (The Rocketeer) vs B.J. Blazkowicz (Wolfenstein)
Bro I would hate to spend several pages talking about my love for Rocketeer and Wolfenstein and why this matchup is absolute peak so imma try to keep it relatively short because I really do like this match.
Both have this Pulp WW2 hero era vive going on adventures doing one thing and one thing only, killing nazis (I had to put inglourious basterds somewhere in here sorry) both have a surprising amount of material and cool stuff to look into and I feel you can do something extremely cool with it and that alternate-history technology. Kina Steampunk kinda sci-fi it can go hard.
I just can’t help to imagine the fight being set up like one of those old Pulp comic stories with cheesy dialogue and cool set-pieces. Also, I would highly recommend playing the Wolfenstein games and watching the Rocketeer movie or checking some of the comics. They are an extremely fun time and I would love to give them some recognition.
Idk, perhaps I will also do this one as a blog in the far future. Who knows.
15-Spawn (Spawn) vs Jackie Estacado (The Darkness)
This one is the coolest Spawn match hands down imo. I grew up with that extremely edgy The Darkness shooter game and it was a lot of fun so when I got presented with this match I just knew it was peak.
This match vives well; it has that comic book edge that makes them characteristic and their power sets are a mix of supernatural stuff and guns so it would be cool to analyze and see, it just sounds neat idk, p’hype.
16-Old Man Logan (Marvel) vs Last Ronin (TMNT)
Ik it is weird to use specific versions of characters, specially one as Old Man Logan, it is not one that you can say everyone is gonna agree with but I feel that this one is a strange exception cus its already being put up against another specific version. Honestly the theme is just as dramatic as you can get, basically just “depression power scaling the matchup” which is funny and also sad but I suppose that's only natural.
Admittedly again, it's a bit weird to use Old Man Logan because his move-kit can be summarized as “Wolverine but his opponents can kill him now” cus his regen and stuff isn’t as potent. But I guess that's what makes it unique, it's another angle of characters we’ve seen before. In the end, I think it is a fun idea.
17-Jack (Final Fantasy) vs Starkiller (Star Wars)

Just thinking about how a track for this matchup would be makes me chuckle ngl. It is just peak 2000’s edgy raw Evanescence and I’m all up for it. When the pinnacle of YT comedy was saying slurs for 5 minutes uninterrupted and you woke up to see Kim Possible on saturdays while Chop Suey by System of a Down played so loud it caused people permanent hearing damage. Those were the times yes siiiiiir.
Honestly this match kinda lives and dies on that and Im up for it 100% Idc who wins. I just want to see Final Fantasy bullshit fight Star Wars bullshit while Avenged Sevenfold plays in the background and they say silly stuff like “You know who else gave into the darkness? Your MOM” and then a whole planet goes boom. It would be so fucking peak, we need this as a species to happen.
18-Reimu (Touhou) vs Yusuke (YuYu Hakusho)

20-Hazama (BlazBlue) vs Seth (Street Fighter)
The matchup sounds fun, I admit that I’m probably biased because I had so much fun making this TN that I feel it inadvertently influenced my opinion on the matchup itself making me think it is much better than what it probably is. Regardless, it goes hard and its not Siniestro so its a W in my book, also Seth is badass.
21-Koji (Digimon Frontier) vs Riku (Kingdom Hearts)
Lemme explain. I know it doesn’t make much sense, perhaps that its not like a super duper thematic matchup and that both have better but hear me out: I wanted a Digimon Frontier matchup. Bam.
That is my logic, I like Frontier, I like Koji, Riku seemed like the character that fit most in my brain and so I just went for it and I do not regret a single second of it.I like KH and I like Digimon so I wanted a matchup with both sue me.
22-The Neravarine (Morrowind) vs The Demi-Fiend (Shin Megami Tensei)
Finding Neravarine renders was impossible so this TN was a nice challenge of just having to make due with whatever you find. This matchup also is p’neat, I like that it is less of a fight built on thematics but vives. But these vibes are different, it’s less just like normal-esk vives and it plays into that legendary status of the characters. It's like watching two legends throw hands, big Dragonborn vs Chosen undead energy. Its unique and makes me happy, its p’epic.
23-Vergil (Devil May Cry) vs Kazuya (Tekken)
I remember that Rina posted a TN for this at some point or another and I said “y’know what, yea that sounds hype as hell” and that's honestly the sole reason this TN exists, Kazya has lots of cool ideas you can pull from. Bro built that different I suppose, It helps Tekken 8 is p’kewl so yeh. In the end this is a very cool idea and you can get Devil trigger vs devil gene and it sounds hype as fuck so yea Im down.
24-Kerrigan (Starcraft) vs Sylvanas (WoW)
Shulk asked me to make a Tn for this matchup, I have very fond memories of making this tn cus it really pushed my render-making abilities lmao. But it was fun, the fight also sounds very fun too! Starcraft vs WoW feels like a no-brainer but this one feels natural and that mix of horror fantasy/sci-fi blends nicely.
Feels like it would go hard, and from what I know of other people that do know a lot more it does indeed go pretty hard so, yes I'm happy for ‘em.
25-Popeye (Thimble Theatre) vs Mario (Super Mario)
Amma be 100% honest I think this match is miles much more cool and more interesting than if Mario just fought Kirby. Not that I hate Kirbo (I love the fella my beloved) but Kirby vs Mario just doesn’t sit well with me, I get the vision but idk, I feel you can do better. And this I feel is much better, it fits and vives a bit better and hey, Jump Man was supposed to be Popeye but didn’t get the licensing so yea it all comes full circle. The idea of Cartoon physics interating with retro game-logic is something that just cannot be fully topped I feel, it such a unique type of vive that I feel doesn’t get explored enough and I feel this match perfectly encapsulates it, would be cool to see it honestly.
26-The Helldivers (Helldivers) vs The ODST (Halo)
I remember I made this tn mostly because at the time Helldivers 2 was extremely popular and memes of it where everywhere and my only thought was that bit from Starship Troopers where the chick goes “I’m doing my part”. Yeh, fun times.
People were throwing around ideas for the Helldivers and idk how but the ODST came into play and I though “yea goes hard actually” and decided to make this tn, honestly a last-second addition to the month but I was happy with how it came out, was a challenge to get a decent render for a Helldiver tho.
Also I find it funny that the ODST’s best wincon is to let the Helldivers just accidentally airstrike themselves, that is some peak VS debating. All in all, p’good I give it 10 trillion cheese pizzas out of a burger from Wendys.
27-Aile (Mega Man ZX) vs Garnet (Steven Universe)

Haven’t seen Steven Universe of played ZX but the G1 made a blog for this matchup so I felt compelled to make a TN for if, if anything just to try out my editing skills. I had lots of fun doing the TN honestly, and having read the blog the matchup doesn’t sound too bad. Sounds interesting, definitely unique for Garnet cus she’s prolly the SU character I see the most being thrown at in VS. In the end, it sounds fun but I sadly cannot really say much about it.
28-Ronald (McDonalds) vs The King (Burger King)
It’s simple, it makes sense, it’s peak, that is all.
29-Ecliptor (PR: In Space) vs Dinobot (Transformers BW)
Another Dek banger, he gave me this idea a looooong while back and I just knew I had to make a TN for it, I was just biding my time to find a good Ecliptor render to use. But yea I really like this matchup.
I'm always happy to see Power Ranger matches that aren’t just the regular MMPR and In Space deserves some love cus its peak. Ecliptor is also a very cool character and I feel he meshes well with Beast Wars, both series have that healthy amount of cheese to ‘em.
You can have some cool sword fight mixed in with other powers and the sort I think it would be extremely fun to look into as well, would love to do an Ecliptor blog at some point.
30-Dan Kuso (Bakugan) vs Gingka Hagane (Beyblade)
Amma be real I think this is neat but aside from having watched a little bit of Bakugan when I was younger I have no idea how this match goes or how it functions. I will say however that Beyblade and Bakugan in an episode would go hard, grew up with the OG Beyblade and it was a great time. That's about it really.
31-Big Mom (One Piece) vs Father (KND)
Eh, eh, see what I did here this month? Started out with Father and ended up with Fath- whatever lol (it was 100% intentional tho).
Honestly I don’t even know how this match got brought up, but it goes hard as fuck. I don’t really think I can say much else the idea of the 2 gangs just kinda pulling up wanting to steal each other's stuff sounds hype idk its neat. Big mom just making father’s fire sentient and throwing it back also sounds funny, all in all this is peak give it to me.
